Eureka - Tales of the Old World: An Intro to Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

About the adventure

Eccentric inventor, Wolfgang Kugelschreiber, needs your help! He's being targeted by scurrilous villains who seek to stop his innovative inventions that promise to change the way we live (and pluck chickens) forever! There is of course the promise of a large sum of money, and even first pick of several of his fantastic inventions. Unfortunately not all is what it seems, and many have taken interest in the engineer’s work... This is a zany, fun introductory scenario for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4th Edition, a British Fantasy Roleplay game originally made by Games Workshop and now published in its 4th Edition by Cubicle 7. In WFRP you play ordinary people thrown into extraordinary situations. If you've played WFRP before, welcome back to the Old World. If you're new this is the perfect jumping on point for you. The session will be a 4 hour one-off with either pregens, or if you book early enough the option to run a brief character generation.

How to prepare

You need a microphone for audio. Video is not necessary. You also need to have Chrome installed on your computer. Other browsers like Safari do not work well with the virtual environment we will playing in.

What I provide

The game will be run on Foundry VTT - an excellent virtual environment for playing Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay.

Gameplay details

Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay can contain body horror and a certain amount of psychological horror. If you are concerned by this please do discuss this at the start of the session. Given the light-hearted nature of this scenario I hope this shouldn't be a problem.

How will character creation work

As this is a one-off session pregenerated characters will be made available. However if you want to create your own character if you give me more than 3 days notice we can arrange to create a character together.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
