About the adventure

Enjoy life in the endless skies aboard the planar exploration ship Astral Tracer. This is a perfect game for new players wanting to try the game out or players who want to play but can't commit to a consistent schedule. Each session will be an episodic adventure on the ship or one of the many planes it visits. All adventures take place at Tier 1 and prebuilt characters will be available for those who don't want to make their own.

How to prepare

Players will need a mic and headset. Understanding the basics (dice types, ability modifiers, checks, and save) is greatly appreciated but any advanced knowledge isn't needed. Characters can be made ahead of time or I will spend the first 30 minutes helping with character creation for new players. Alternatively, prebuilt character templates will be available for a variety of character archetypes.

What I provide

I will be providing a unique home-brew adventure each session complete with digital maps, monster tokens, and digital handouts as appropriate. I will also provide a digital record of all previous adventures, and known NPCs as part of a dedicated discord server.

Gameplay details

Each session will take place aboard the planar exploration ship Astral Tracer or one of the many worlds it stops at, in a similar vein to a popular sci-fi series the goes boldly where no one has gone before. Adventures will generally be light-hearted and focused on exploration. Each adventure will have at least one combat encounter, though there may be times when combat can be avoided entirely. Characters should be neutral-to-good in morals with a focus on those who seek knowledge, explore the unknown, meet strange peoples, and generally just help out.

How will character creation work

Character will start at level 1 when they join the crew. Character creation will use point-buy or standard array and can be built from any officially published DnD books. No Unearthed Arcana or homebrew materials. Characters can be made ahead of time or I will spend the first 30 minutes helping with character creation for new players. Alternatively, prebuilt character templates will be available for a variety of character archetypes.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
