About the adventure

Not everyone on Torril is an Adventurer. Many people go about their jobs and lives, and when that gets too much, they swing down to the local tavern, grab a drink, and listen to a tale of extraordinary heroes, vicious monsters, and devious villains. This game will be run as a narrative of short, loosely connected adventures with the players being able to play different classes and characters with each of the stories, should they so chose. This should provide a 1-20 experience, but allowing for a real look at the different classes and playstyles. Player's will be expected to have working microphones, decent internet, and an understanding that this is a game for everyone. All are welcome, old or new players, min/maxers or roleplayers, all that I ask is commitment, respect, and consistency.

Additional Details

How to prepare

All the players will need is discord and a microphone, I will explain using roll 20 as needed, though having a basic understanding of the system is advised.

What I provide

I have the module, so maps, handouts, and tokens are well covered, and for a small additional fee, I have an artist that can take character commissions for tokens, portraits, or scenes.

Gameplay details

A typical session will be a balance of challenging, rewarding combat, and meaningful roleplay, though I am happy to cater towards the players wants. I tend to use a few different house rules, but those are always optional.

How will character creation work

Character creation will occur at the beginning of each adventure, with the players being welcome to share ideas or ask advice from me or more experienced players if they'd like. The adventures progress from level 1 to level 20, with breaks and an opportunity to change characters at the end of each story, or continue playing the same character.

Players can expect

  • Combat/Tactics: Medium
  • Roleplay: High
  • Puzzles: Medium
