Surviving The House of Lament

About the adventure

Ravenloft is a Gothic Horror campaign setting for Dungeons & Dragons. It is a pocket dimension called the Demiplane of Dread, a collection of domains brought together by the mysterious "Dark Powers". Each domain is ruled by a "Darklord". Characters risk coming under the influence of the Dark Powers and transforming themselves into figures of evil. The mists of Ravenloft can access the entire D&D universe, drawing evil-doers or innocents alike into this realm of horror. The House of Lament is a house with a dark history and darker inhabitants who have lived in torture for years. They are ready to spread their pain to others or to have you join them. Players will have a similar excuse for entering the house this evening - roaming zombies and ravenous werewolves are not rumor in this land, but facts to be wary of. Fleeing agents of death leads the characters into this new nest of darkness, pitting their wit and purity against spirits whom would rather claw out their eyes than be helped. Can you not only uncover the pain and sorrow that this house represents and lay it to rest, but survive until dawn as well?

Gameplay details

Trapped in Lament House for the evening, you have only one goal... stay alive until you can escape. Can you uncover the secret to Lament House and lay the souls that have expired within to rest? Investigation skills and a knowledge of dark magic is quite helpful in this adventure, as well as resourcefulness and a ready blade.

How will character creation work

Roll 4d6, reroll 1's and 2's until you have none, keep the highest 3 dice and arrange to taste. Pathfinder character creation classes and races, or 3.5 if you prefer.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
