Sunless Citadel - Solo run

About the adventure

At the bottom of a canyon lies an ancient citadel, now home to goblins, kobolds and creatures more foul. In the nearby forests rumours of small trees killing villagers. In the prosperous town of Oakhurst a mayor awaits the delivery of an apple that could bare life or death whilst a shopkeeper bemoans the loss of her children. What connects these together? Join me on a journey to uncover the mysteries of The Sunless Citadel. This is for those players that want a solo experience. Go alone or grab a companion or two at the local inn. As you are playing alone you get a much more tailored experience and one you will not so easily forget. Whether you like roleplaying, combat or a mix of both i'll tailor the adventure to your tastes. You start at level one and will face a variety of enemies and challenges with multiple solutions. Will you fight your way through to victory, use diplomacy to have others fight for/with you? New players are welcome as well as wizened veterans. This is one of my favourite adventures and one I love to tell. Each group is different and I eagerly wait to see what you will do. Depending on how you play it can take 2-6 sessions, like everything I do I am flexible and adjust the content to meet the needs of my players.

Additional Details

How to prepare

I use the program Discord to run my game and my growing sub community. You will need a microphone and a webcam so we can recreate the face to face experience as best as we can. You are welcome to use your own dice or the dice that is attached to your discord room. If you are very new to the game please tell me so that I can ensure that you are ready to start the adventure.

What I provide

I run the game using handcrafted terrain, custom made mini's and a combat cam. Occasionally hand outs are given, including maps, depending on what happens in the game.

Gameplay details

I include a one hour free session zero before the first session to welcome you all in and set the tone and desires of my players.

How will character creation work

You start at level one. I will invite you to my discord server where you can and you can create your character before the first session using any of the core rule books. Custom content is negotiable. If you need help to create a character then I am happy to help you.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
