About the adventure

Your companions and you are looking for the legedary treasure of the Shining Pearl, a luxurious ship that sunk a long time ago as it was carrying a big diamond carved like a mermaid. With a water breathing potion, you dive deep under the sea to retreive the diamond with the fame and wealth that comes with it.

How to prepare

Make sure to have a discord account, a roll20 account (both are free) and a mic. Also here's a reminder of underwater combat rules: When making a melee weapon attack, a creature that doesn't have a swimming speed (either natural or granted by magic) has disadvantage on the attack roll unless the weapon is a dagger, javelin, shortsword, spear, or trident. A ranged weapon attack automatically misses a target beyond the weapon's normal range. Even against a target within normal range, the attack roll has disadvantage unless the weapon is a crossbow, a net, or a weapon that is thrown like a javelin (including a spear, trident, or dart). Creatures and objects that are fully immersed in water have resistance to fire damage. And if you don't have a swimming speed, you swim at half your walking speed.

How will character creation work

Come to the game with your character sheets ready. You can use dnd beyond or roll20. Stats are point buy or roll. If you roll bad you can switch to point buy. For the races and classes, I allow only what comes from the player's handbook, the Xanatar and Volo's guide to monsters.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
