About the adventure

You and your traveling companions have arrived in the small town of Ralos, and finding an inn there decide to stop and rest for the night. But it’s obvious to the locals that you’re adventurers, and it becomes clear that they may have use of your skills. You learn that a series of strange accidents has befallen several citizens of Ralos; a set of accidents that lead some of them to what they see as the only reasonable explanation... witchcraft! You and your companions must investigate the town of Ralos to see which citizens are telling the truth and which citizens might not be what they seem. As you delve further into its mysterious, you may even find yourselves fighting the forces of darkness. You must use your skill to guess who or what is behind these strange accidents, and apprehend the true culprit... if there really is one.

How to prepare

Players will need access to Zoom, a working microphone, and a character sheet for a level 3 character. Players are welcome to use video but it’s not a requirement.

What I provide

I will be utilizing physical dice for most of my rolls. This game is mostly run “theater of the mind” style, with me describing what happens, although I do have some images that I’ll share as illustrations.

Gameplay details

This adventure focuses on investigation and role-play, but there will be some combat. There is one indirect reference to physical abuse in this game.

How will character creation work

Characters should be level 3 for this adventure and created beforehand. The easiest way to creat and share a character is DNDBeyond, although as long as you’re able to send over a character sheet it should be fine.

Players can expect

  • Combat/Tactics: Low
  • Roleplay: Medium
  • Puzzles: Medium
  • Experience Level: Open to all
