About the adventure

🍹 - Explore a tropical volcanic island, with lush landscapes and hidden mysteries! ⚔️ - Fight for your life against exotic monsters in cinematic battle scenes! 🎲 - Discover the wonder of playing in a Duet, and the convenience of posting at your own pace in a safe environment! This medium-length adventure takes you to Dragon's Rest, a volcanic island borne from the rage of an ancient Red dragon imprisoned beneath the sea. You have washed up on the black beaches of Stormwreck Isle. Perhaps you were seeking the wisdom of the legendary dragon of the isle, or your ship was blown off course. Regardless, you lay on black sands beneath a scorching sun, and the only way is forward. This game will give you a gentle introduction to DnD 5e, play by post as a format, and the unique experience of 1:1 role-play. More experienced players are always welcome if they want to play at a more relaxed pace, or if they want to try out one of my games before jumping into a long-form campaign. The adventure should last approximately 8-12 weeks depending on the pace set by you. There are options for a continuation of this campaign past that point if you desire. Pacing: 1 long DM post each day in the evenings (UK time), and a shorter message in the morning to reply to any @ pings. Additional replies/posts are subject to my availability throughout the day. How to prepare

Essential: 🎤 Discord with a free account. ♟ Roll20 with a free account. Recommended: 📱 The roll20 app, to access your sheet and roll dice on the go.

What I provide

I will provide the adventure, the world and all the non-playing characters for players to interact with. I will provide access to the module content. I will provide access to all of the 5e source books through my Roll20 account. I will provide guidance and expertise to any questions, queries or quandaries.

Gameplay details

The RPG safety checklist is linked under #start-here in my discord channel for the game. Please fill it out and send it to me before we play. There will be a discussion over either voice or text to serve as a session 0. I am happy to arrange private meetings as required over voice or text. I encourage players to message me and stars and wishes; it helps tailor the experience for you as well as steer clear of problematic areas.

How will character creation work

I have a complete compendium of character options on both roll20 and DnD beyond and you are free to make your character on either medium. Characters will start at level 2, with a free feat at level 1.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
