You are about to embark on a great adventure that pits heroes against giants bent on reshaping the world. Storm King’s Thunder is a Dungeons & Dragons adventure that will lead you and your mighty companions across the Sword Coast in a desperate attempt to prevent a devastating war. Can you prove yourselves worthy of facing down the threat of the giants? ________________________________________________________________________________ Hello, and welcome! I'm Matt, and I'll be your Dungeon Master for this Storm King's Thunder campaign module. I've been a Dungeonmaster for 7 years and run over 40 games here as well as in person. I'm a friendly and flexible DM and I'll commit to giving you the best campaign I can! I'm looking for 5 players to join me in this adventure, which will start at level 1 and will end at level 11. This is a long-term campaign and will take several months to complete. Sessions will run between 2.5 and 4 hours on average. As I charge by the hour, we can decide as a group what we prefer. I generally prefer to play for at least 3 hours.

How to prepare

We will be playing using Roll20 and Discord. This will require a Roll20 account and a Discord account, both of which are free and painless, and can be used entirely in-browser. A microphone is required and a webcam is a plus. Please arrive with a basic understanding of what Dungeons and Dragons is and how it's played. Bring a good attitude and a character idea that gets you excited!

What I provide

The entire game will take place on Roll20, which provides us with all the tools we need to play the game. I include music, official maps and campaign materials, and paid features on Roll20 including dynamically interactive lighting, intuitive scripting (You'll be able to turn your torch on and off at will and see the effect on the map, for example), and much more.

Gameplay details

This game contains fantasy violence, including combat and death. Games will be made as family-friendly as possible and boundaries will be discussed before the beginning of the campaign, as well as any time potentially sensitive subject matter arises.

How will character creation work

Character creation will happen as a group during a "Session 0". If you're comfortable creating your own character unassisted, you can create a character on your own beforehand. Characters will start at level 1.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
