📢✨ Join the Ultimate Adventure! Explore the Astral Sea! 🌌🚀 You are a space-fairing adventurer who has heard the rumors of a celestial event called "The Starfall". Several portals are opening up in close proximity allowing travel to places never before seen. This opportunity to see things never before witnessed, brave the dangers of the unknown galaxy, and record them for all future travelers will have your names forever etched in the books as legends. In this campaign you'll be able to: 🛠️Mod your spaceship with weapons, comforts, artificial intelligence, med bay boons, digital assault/defense mods, and more. (The ships are alive btw, and so are the $$ to buy things.) 💥Fight in ship-to-ship combat style whether it be dog fights in space, boarding and raiding, or magical intelligence combat! ⛵Explore a rich universe packed with cosmic lore and mythology, alien cultures, multidimensional encounters, magical technology and artifacts, and somehow still even more! I made this completely customized homebrew campaign which takes the Dungeons & Dragons Spelljammer setting and mixes it with Burn Bryte space combat mechanics. The rich world has its own plot but will be heavily influenced by player choice and character backgrounds to deliver a tailored experience. Welcome to all levels of player experience. We will use Discord for voice and camera communication. The game will be hosted on Foundry VTT. The discord is home to the community of players that I have in my various games that are a kind group of individuals ready to share in your storytelling fun. How to prepare

In preparation for the campaign, while a webcam is not required, it's suggested for added fun and immersion. A microphone, however, is necessary for effective communication. Don't worry if you're not familiar with the D&D rules beforehand, as we can explore them together during the sessions. We'll create our characters collaboratively, either during our session zero or privately if you join later. The software you will need are both Discord and FoundryVTT which are both free to download.

What I provide

As the Game Master, I bring an immersive experience to our virtual tabletop. With my voice acting skills, I aim to give each NPC a distinct personality, creating a world that feels alive and vibrant. Prepare to explore our adventure with detailed maps that will visually guide our journey. Witness the magic of animated spells, adding an extra layer of wonder to our gameplay experience. To enhance the mood and create an immersive atmosphere, I carefully curate a selection of ambient and combat music. These tunes will transport you into the heart of the action, keeping you engaged and immersed in the story. Utilizing advanced APIs, I strive to streamline our gameplay experience, allowing us to focus on the adventure at hand. These tools will assist in navigating character sheets and resolving mechanics seamlessly.

Gameplay details

Our sessions kick off with everyone joining the Discord server and logging into FoundryVTT. Once everyone's settled and raring to go, we dive straight into the game. Exploration, role-playing, and combat form the core pillars of our adventure. If you're a fan of fantasy, humor, sci-fi, and thrilling combat encounters then you're in for a treat with this game. I strive to strike a balance between Star Trek/Star Wars/Stargate/Fascape/Firefly vibes. Prepare for a delightful mix of serious and lighthearted content that keeps the game engaging throughout. Each session is carefully crafted with detailed maps, animated spells, immersive sound effects, and captivating narrative explanations that bring the world to life. As a game master, I take pride in my voice acting skills and aim to give each NPC a unique personality, occasionally employing voice mods. While character death is a real possibility, especially at lower levels, I maintain a fair and unbiased approach, letting the dice determine outcomes without pulling any punches. Challenges within the game range from manageable to formidable, providing you with opportunities to exercise strategic thinking and decision-making skills. My utmost goal is to create an atmosphere of genuine excitement, making every encounter immersive and authentic. There will be a 15-minute break around the midpoint of each session to gives everyone an opportunity to grab refreshments, enjoy some snacks, and attend to any personal needs.

How will character creation work

During session zero we will discuss the plot, vibe, and campaign themes to ensure the characters fit seamlessly into this exciting adventure. With the characters starting at level 2, we'll brainstorm concepts and party dynamics, taking into account what others have planned. We will generate stats via point buy. Any published material from D&D is allowed, let me know if there is any Unearthed Arcana you would like to try out as well. We'll be creating our characters with D&D Beyond. Let's also touch upon any house rules, boundaries, and logistical details during this collaborative session.
