About the adventure

You have just been recruited to take up the fight against the Ga'ould as part of the Phoenix Site Initiative. Join other recruits from the Tau'ri (humans), Jaffa, Tok'ra, Alturan, and Unas who have also joined in an effort to defeat the Ga'ould System Lords. This is a Science Fiction setting based on the popular TV show Stargate SG-1 and takes place mid season 6.

How to prepare

Prior knowledge of the world is helpful but not necessary. Please try to be familiar with the base 5th ed Dungeons & Dragons rules, I will explain the differences at the start of the session for new players. (If you are new and able to arrive early I would be happy to explain then as well) You will need to have at least a free/demo copy of Fantasy Grounds Ultimate installed on your PC/Mac prior to game time, I will open the server early so you can test your connection. For character tracking in the Living RPG, a free account on StargatetheRPG.com is needed and the character should be added. Discord will be used for voice chat so please have a microphone set up and headphones available in case of feedback/echos.

What I provide

Fantasy Grounds Unity(FGU) Ultimate license - allows players with a free copy of FGU to connect and play. Link to the episode on StargatetheRPG.com for character logging purposes. Maps as needed - please let me know if you have preferences to Theater of the Mind or everything on a map when you sign up Character options and effects for fantasy grounds coded - this is a personal fan conversion so there may be bugs/missing/wrong info from time to time - the rule book is the arbiter in cases where I type something incorrect.

Gameplay details

I will be using the Halt! extension for Fantasy Grounds which allows players to send Caution and Stop notifications anonymously to the GM by double clicking on the icon at the top of the chat bar.

How will character creation work

You will need to create a free account on Stargatetherpg.com and register your character for character tracking purposes, Two options for character creation: 1) - preferred - Send me a day/time at least two hours before game time for me to open up the server and help you through character creation. 2) If you have the core book and are not able to log in prior - Send me a PDF of your character no later than 24 hrs prior to game time and I can load it up for you. Pregen characters are also available.
