Starfinder Society Scenarios

About the adventure

As members of the Starfinder Society old and new you are charged with exploring new worlds, investigating strange phenomena, and countering threats to the Society and the Pact Worlds as a whole. Your adventures will take you to all the planets of the Pact Worlds and beyond. You will solve mysteries, act as diplomats, and fight enemies of the Society and Pact Worlds both at home and abroad. You will need brains, charisma, and muscle in equal measure if you are to succeed.

How to prepare

Players will need: - A working microphone (webcams are optional) - A Discord account (this is where we will be handling voice) - A Roll20 account (this is where we will be handling dice rolls and tactical combat) Players with existing Pathfinder/Starfinder Society member numbers need to make sure they bring their member number information so that credit for completion of scenarios can be properly assigned. New players that do not have this can be issued one either as part of session 0 or after the completion of a scenario. Players who are familiar with the rules can create their characters ahead of time if they want to use their own. Players who are new to the system can talk to me about getting assistance creating a character ahead of time, or they can use a pre-gen.

What I provide

I will have some of the rulebooks (Core Rulebook, Pact Worlds, Alien Archive 1-3, Armory, and Character Operations Manual) as well as record sheets needed to assign experience and other rewards to characters. In addition, as an audio engineer, I may bring unique sound bites to game from time to time--this could be narration, sound effects, ambience, or music.

Gameplay details

This game is 2SLGTBQIA+ friendly and everyone is welcome at my table as long as they can be respectful to me and their fellow players. All content for these games will be coming from Paizo's Starfinder Society Scenarios. At the beginning of every session we will review all safety tools, including any not specifically listed that you may want to use, assuming there is player turnover from the last session. The Starfinder Society is the living campaign setting for the Starfinder RPG by Paizo. The Starfinder Society Scenarios are organized into seasons, of which there are currently six, with season six being the current season. We can start with any scenario and move through them in whatever order players prefer. There is a loose over-arching storyline throughout all six seasons, so for those wishing to have the full experience we may want to start with earlier seasons/scenarios and progress forward from there. We will decide which scenario to play at least a week ahead of the scheduled game date.

How will character creation work

Which scenario players decide to play will impact character creation options. Assuming we are playing a level 1 scenario, players can bring in level 1 characters created using standard Starfinder Society character creation rules, create a new level 1 character using those rules, or use one of the standard pre-gen characters. If we start with a higher level scenario, players can still bring in previously created characters as long as they are the appropriate level for the scenario, or they can use one of the standard pre-gen characters. Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
