Star Wars Edge of the Empire: Escape Mos Shuuta (Introductory Game)

About the adventure

This will be an introduction to the Fantasy Flight Star Wars RPG system using the Edge of Empire Beginner's game and would be for anyone who is interested in learning this system. The Fantasy Flight Star Wars RPG system is based off the Genesys system which focuses on story-telling/narrative and uses a lot of mechanics that are different from a D20 system. Edge of the Empire is a set of rules from FF that focuses more on the smuggler/rogue/scoundrel rather than the rebel or force user. This game will take place on Tatooine in the streets of Mos Shuuta. The party will consist of 3-5 character's who have fallen out of the graces of a local mob boss. They must work together to get out of Mos Shuuta while evading the Empire and the local mob.

How to prepare

A webcam is not required but it is preferred and mic IS required to play this game. Players will need to have Discord and create a free roll20 account. Players can bring their own narrative dice if they have them, or you can download the Genesys app from any app store. However, I prefer that players use a free application like this (https://rpg-dice-roller.herokuapp.com/) because it helps explain what each roll means.

I will bring dice, character sheets, miniatures, maps, etc.

Gameplay details

My games might include the use of alcohol, references to drugs, and sexuality. However, I am a huge fan of Lines and Veils and a lot of stuff might be mentioned in general, but remain behind a Veil. X-cards can be used if the subject area is moving towards or past a line someone is uncomfortable with.

How will character creation work

Players can choose from 5 pre-generated characters that will be given out "first-come-first-served" before the first session.

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
