About the adventure

It is a period of unrest and opportunity in the Galaxy. The Galactic Empire struggles to maintain control in the midst of a civil war. Meanwhile, scoundrels and smugglers, explorers and expatriates, and fringers of all kinds scramble for a living on the edge of galactic civilization. It is a hard life, but these renegades have more freedom than any citizen of the Core Worlds. Escaping from the wrath of the up-and-coming Crime Lord known as TEEMO THE HUTT, an intrepid group of scoundrels and warriors flees from the desert world of TATOOINE towards Ryloth, homeworld of the Twi'leks, where they hope to recuperate and rest in preparation for a counter offensive against their slug-like foe. Hoping to make allies of a certain militant group of Twi'leks seeking to bring Ryll mines back into the control of Twi'leks rather than Teemo's hired thugs, they will have to face the ever encroaching forces of their nemesis in order to gain the allies and gear necessary to finally take him down

How to prepare

You should have a working microphone, a roll20 account, a discord account, and a willingness to roleplay and communicate with both DM and fellow players.

What I provide

Notes, hand-outs, character sheets, enemy sheets, maps, and expansions to the plot and setting will be provided by DM as a base level of play. In addition, the story of the campaign will be tailored to take into account personal player character backstory and motivations as well as obligations, interwoven into the campaign in believable and impactful ways to provide a sense of immersion and attatchment to character and setting.

Gameplay details

Players can expect a game where planning and thinking through your decisions is rewarded and encouraged, as well as realistic consequences by the internal logic of the setting for actions taken throughout the campaign. Players will be brought into a conversation before game to discuss what themes, ideas, and tonalities they are comfortable with before their first session of play.

How will character creation work

We will be using Base XP, new players joining the game late will have access to more XP to catch them up to the players who already are playing in the campaign. Player creation will typically take place before your first session in private chat in a personal session 0-like event where we will discuss character motivations, backstory, skills and your desired experience for the character. All characters must have their Career and first Specialization be chosen from the Edge of the Empire Careers/Specs, though they may branch out into specializations from the other FFG game books.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
