About the adventure

A powerful relic has ended up missing from the local church. The party has been entrusted with finding the bones of St. Andral, who was originally entombed beneath the cathedral, but has since come up missing. The local Father beleives if they are not inturred again, that their power to hold back evil from entering their house of worship shall fail. One of the party's main leads is Milivoj, the Gravedigger. Unfortunately, he has not been seen for several days since they came missing. Milivoj lives at the local orphanage where he was raised, now helping to care for the new orphans. Recently, rumors have been spreading of screams and howls of terror heard throughout the nights. The children are no longer running around playing. They've started looking sickly, with bruises appearing that no one can remember the cause of. What is happening at St. Andral's Orpanage?

Gameplay details

We will be using the Lines and Veils; we'll discuss how those work directly before the game starts. Players are encouraged to message the GM via Discord at any point, for any reason. WARNING: This is a gothic horror one-shot that involves children. I will NOT, however, go into any deep gore or description invovling the children themselves. All aspects of the story is part of the environment and for descriptive purposes only and happens "behind the veil."

How will character creation work

Players will need to create a character beforehand on DnD Beyond; GM will upload to Foundry along with their portrait if the player has one available ⭐ Level 5 📕 Any official WotC material is acceptable 🎲 Standard Array or Point Buy for Ability Scores 💰 Starting Equipment or roll for Class Wealth 📚 GM has Supplemental Sources that Players will have access too ✨ 1 Common magic item and 1 Potion of Healing
