About the adventure
This game is very particular and not for everyone. Its setting and themes could be too much for some, so consider yourself warned. This game aims to be a one-shot to introduce people to the setting and system. If you want a campaign you can request one from my profile. Before I mention the setting, I'll tell you about the game system: it doesn't use dice but Tarot cards. I'll explain in more detail later. Sine Requie (Without Rest) takes place in an alternative history where the Dead have risen in 1944. As a consequence, European history as w know it has been heavily altered: >Spain, the British Isles, and half of France are completely overrun by undead. >The Third Reich was never defeated, and evolved into the 4th Reich >Italy was also overrun, but the new Templar order cleared the cities of undead. It is now the Sanctum Imperi, a church state >The USSR achieved Perfect* Communsim, and developed megacities run by an infallible** automated system, the Z.A.R. Everyone is happy*** This game will be a short adventure in one of these regions, chosen by the players. As you can see, some of the situations presented might make people uncomfortable. And that's leaving out all the horrible things people do to each other in survival situations. Speaking of which, these Undead are nothing like in the Walking Dead. They're not called Zombies, because the term didn't exist yet. They're just called the Dead, and cannot be stopped by simple head injuries. You either burn them to ashes or completely shred them.

How to prepare
You should come up with some character concepts based on the settings I described above. Also, you should have a Discord and Roll20 account
What I provide
Since the game is only available as a hardback and in Italian, I'm the one that has the rules. I'll also implement the Tarot cards on roll20
Gameplay details
As I said before, the game uses Tarot cards to determine the success or failure of a player's endeavor. The full version of the game also uses playing cards as well as the Tarots, but this version is quicker and simpler. During play, each player will describe what their character is trying to do. The more generic and wide the description, the better: the cards will fill in the blanks (e.g: Instead fo "I attack the Dead in the doorway with an axe" you can say "I try to hold the doorway against the horde"). Each card you pull has a different meaning according to what situation the character is in, and will lead to a different result in either success or failure. Some wacky stuff can (and will) happen

How will character creation work
Characters will be created simply by writing your character concept down. That's it. No sheets, no numbers. You just need to know who your character is and what they're good/bad at. In the full game, character creation is more complicated, but I want to keep things as quick and easy as possible for now.
