About the adventure

This isn’t the campaign where you hire someone to manage your business while you adventure. YOU are the owner of this shop in this local sandbox style campaign where you must team up with other PC business owners to solve troublesome situations and make profits. Dive into day to day affairs that come with ownership and collaborate with fellow local shopkeeps to handle larger community issues. Roleplay will be a huge part of every session with combat taking a strong backseat. Players will be encouraged to have lavish descriptions of their businesses, staff, clientele, and more prepared when they introduce their character. While this campaign will still include combat, players who look forward to regular, large scale battles may not enjoy this setting long term while players that have dreams of opening a tavern will thrive.

What I provide

Once my players provide me with a detailed description of their business, I'll create a "battlemap" showcasing their unique shop in the town. If players are free during the map designs, they are welcome to join a call to better direct the "construction of their shop" in game. - homebrew structures and business resource guide with over 50 business ideas with mechinal in-game benefits. - a space to roleplay your business and interact with other player's shops.

Gameplay details

When the consent checklist goes out, I will do my best to change the setting to fit specific player needs such as swapping out spiders for something else if a player informs us spiders are a hard trigger. If we are unable to confidently work a trigger out of the campaign, such as blood triggers in a vampire campaign, I will let the player know this setting may not be the best match for them to join. Players will each have a chance to dive into some of their business specifics for the workday and RP together as a group when shops are closed or at their slow hours. They might RP firing a lazy employee, promote someone to assistant manager, or deal even with troublesome guests when delving into their work day. During session, DM will have each player roll a d20 to decide the order in which we'll visit each PC's shop/business to handle daily events (sort of like an initiative to ensure every player is visited). During our visit to each player's shop, other PCs at the table will be encouraged to roleplay random customers shopping at the current shop. This is not mandatory but helps keep everyone involved while we visit each shop. After each shop is visit, all the shopkeeps/ PC main characters will meet up for a brief moment to discuss guild business before retiring to their personal lives.
