Gameplay details

Safety Tools: Lines and Veils Content Warnings: There are some pretty heavy themes explored in this campaign. PLEASE AVOID IF YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THESE CONCEPTS: Human trafficking, survivor's guilt, PC vs PC animosity (at least at the beginning), drug use GM is a military veteran and an RN. Gallows humor and combat descriptions can get detailed/graphic (not always but GM can get caught up in the moment). Elements of body horror, betrayal, and family drama. In the beginning the PCs are treated poorly by contacts and those around them due to their ruined reputation, meaning that NPCs aren't always nice to them and can be obstructive. This can be frustrating to some players. It gets better.

How will character creation work

PCs will start with 50 karma to signify that they've been scratching out a living after their botched job. Session Zero: Establish character concepts, connections and details of the botched job Individual character creation will be handled before session one, offline. GM can make a PC if the player requests it. Pre-generated characters will be available to players who cannot attend session zero. PCs must be approved prior to session 1. Pre-generated characters will have built in connections to the campaign but PC to PC connections will have to be quickly established before we play session 1
