About the adventure
After years of tribulation, the Rebellion has succeeded in removing the Empire from power: but now a vacuum lies in it's place. Remnants of the Empire, and the Sith, dot the far reaches of space, clinging to any scrap of power they can get their hands on: some people just don't know when to accept defeat. Rebellion leadership races to create some kind of power structure to oversee the galaxy, but the stars are not a frontier quickly quelled. During this transition of power, the eyes of the law are often too few and too shortsighted to keep the unscrupulous from making a quick credit. Will you struggle to see the Empire revived? Fight along side this revitalized democracy to see liberty restored to the galaxy? Perhaps play both sides, ensuring all success flows to your accounts? In the wake of the Empire, fortune favors those who seek it.

How to prepare
There are no requirements here, so long as your group is in consensus about the communication medium. If your group would like full camera and microphone, microphone only, live or play-by-post text, let's talk about it. I'm game as long as there are enough people to play a game.

Gameplay details
This system is a little clunky at times, but offers the chance to adventure in a Star Wars universe for those already familiar with the D&D 5E ruleset. This will be largely sandbox in nature, with the universe reacting to the actions taken by the party. They may explore new or forgotten planets, broker deals with Hutt Cartels, or extinguish guttering flames of the Imperial war machine. The system offers a good amount of customization options, so we can spend a good amount of time together going over everything to ensure your group starts their first real session with a purpose. This version of the adventure is designed with groups in mind, but don't let that discourage you if you're only bringing yourself. Having a session 0 gives groups of even strangers a chance to make sure they're on the same page for alignment and role balance, which can streamline early sessions, which means more play time for you in the long run. Once your Session 0 is over, we'll discuss a time that works best for everyone involved, and we'll begin our game at the normal rate.

How will character creation work
With session 0, we set time aside for character creation. That said, if you already have a character constructed, we can still talk about anything that remains blank on your sheet while I'm helping the rest of the group get theirs started. Session 0 is an extremely informal environment, where everyone will be getting a feel for each other, and for the game you all want to play together. This can allow for intricate backstory content, or characters who start the game already knowing each other well, starting with a group ship, and things that couldn't be arranged if our first session you're expecting to immediately start playing.
