About the adventure
This game is for fun-loving players that are excited to play D&D in an urban setting focusing on investigations and mysteries! You will be able to meet famous adventures such as Volo while experiencing tactical combat in a magical campaign full of wonder. There will be more role-play than usual. Most of these interactions will be based on trying to find clues about the overarching mystery. Standard D&D 5e rules will take place with a minimal amount of house rules. The spirit and fun of the game for the players will be prioritized by using rules as intended. Player's will have almost total agency over the story. Player's will be reward for their creativity whenever possible. Beginners, veterans, and everyone in-between are welcome!

How to prepare
Please be familiar with Discord. Roll20 will occasionally be used, but experience is not required. Please have a basic understanding of the rules, if not please schedule time before the first session with Evan, the GM, to help you learn.
What I provide
Evan has all the core rule books plus Volo's Guide to Monsters, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes, and Waterdeep Dragonheist. Maps and player handouts will be given to you. Light background music to set the tone will also be provided.

How will character creation work
Characters will start at level 1. You will have access to all character options from officially published material. Unearthed Arcana and homebrew material are subject to review. Characters will start out with a heroic stat array of 17, 15, 14, 13, 12, and 10. Characters will be made during a free session 0.
