    About the adventure

Seeking Paradise is a short (3-6) session campaign, all about surviving the arctic wilderness, questioning tradition, finding the fantastic within the mysteries of the landscape and within your characters. In this campaign you will return with much needed supplies, a whale, and you will be charged with gathering the remaining supplies to the vengeful god Agak. Food and supplies become rarer each year, and the traditions of the tribe will clash with their bonds for each other, while the tragedy of the past will clash with the tragedy of the present. Everyone hopes for a better future, but is seeking paradise a fool’s errand?

    Additional Details

    How to prepare

You will need a mic, Discord (program and account), and a wish to play the game. We will either be using Fantasy Grounds or Foundry, which will be decided upon in session 0, and I will help you keep your character sheet up to date and ready.

    What I provide

I have higher tier accounts for Fantasy Grounds and a Forge server for Foundry, which will mean you won't have to pay for those programs. I've got plenty of books to share, and maps to plop you onto, thus it nearly comes down to you just needing to bring yourself and be ready to roleplay.

    Gameplay details

Each session will have a will of it's own, driven by you. I love to lean into the social interaction and exploration a bit more than combat, and I enjoy thinking about (and implementing) how the players action, decisions, and words affect the world around them. I will run a Session 0 to describe the setting and ensure all content I plan to run is A-ok to do so with the group. It will also be a time where I can help you get all the resources you will need.

    How will character creation work

We will begin creating characters together during session 0. While I suggest you come to session 0 with a few ideas up your sleeve, it's really a time to chat, bounce ideas, and get a character started. Then, you can flesh the character out to your hearts content, and I'l do my best to help you wherever you need me. By the time we begin our first actual session, you'll need your full character ready, and ideally I'll have had time to implement any backstory giblets into the world.
