About the adventure

Something strange is happening to your hometown of Willowshore! Nestled on the banks of a river winding through the legendary Specterwood in Tian Xia’s haunted land of Shenmen, the people of Willowshore are no strangers to supernatural threat, but the danger that comes to town on the first day of summer is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Over the four seasons to come, you and your fellow home-grown heroes must face evil spirits, sinister fiends, and frightening curses, lest the town of Willowshore succumb to the Season of Ghosts! The first day of summer brings not joy and relaxation, but a horrifying curse and an invasion of monsters! A new group of heroes must rise to the challenge of retaking their hometown from these dangerous invaders, all while enduring and investigating the mysterious curse that seems to have engulfed the land in a supernatural grip. Can the town of Willowshore be saved, or will these become its final summer days?

Additional Details

How to prepare

A basic knowledge of Pathfinder is needed. I will have blank sheets on Foundry VTT ...although if you want to create and import characters you can do that also. Reading the Players Guide will be needed, it is recommended you choose Backgrounds from this.

What I provide

I have Foundry set up with all the maps and sheets and Dice. The Compendium will be open (so drag and drop will be available!)

Gameplay details

This Adventure Path is meant to be a high magic exciting adventure, full of danger and growth, not an analysis of, or mirror for real-world matters of social issues. Nonetheless, you and your friends might not enjoy the situations or conversations that arise as a result of your unusual roles in this campaign. Remember that a fun game involves enthusiastic consent from everyone at the table, especially when discussing or roleplaying themes that might closely resemble sensitive issues from the not-so-simple real world. What one person might consider an opportunity to discuss real-life ethical dilemmas might be an upsetting or traumatic situation for another. Feel free to voice your concerns as needed (and private avenues are available too). XCards and Lines and Veils will be used and set up in the game.

How will character creation work

We will have a Discord Channel to discus player creation as players sign up. We will use all Common Options from all currently available books and if you wish to discuss Uncommon and Rare Options they will probably be approved (Any Uncommon and Rare Options available through ACP at character creation will be Approved and the good news is it will not cost ACP).I also allow many Battlezoo Ancestries (the ones available are listed on the Discord).

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
