About the adventure
“While the rest of mankind dwells in the light, we must stand in the darkness to fight it, contain it, and shield it from the eyes of the public, so that others may live in a sane and normal world. We secure. We contain. We protect.” You are containment specialists of field team Kilo-Sierra-34. Your job is to respond to confirmed cases of anomalous activity, identify the object, entity, or phenomenon in question, and contain it for transportation to the Foundation—without the public knowing anything out of the ordinary was happening in the first place, and preferably without losing your mind or other significant organs. This game runs on a hack of Monster of the Week, with modified moves and playbooks.

Additional Details
How to prepare
This game will use voice—please have a mic with headphones/earbuds. Webcams optional but encouraged. Digital character sheets (playbooks) will be provided via Google docs. Players need two six-sided dice.
What I provide
I will provide digital character sheets (playbooks), custom rules/moves, and in-universe artifacts and handouts via Google docs and Discord. I will also have opt-in ambient soundscapes available. For players who sign up to multiple sessions, I will create in-universe “personnel files” to augment their character sheets.
Gameplay details
This game contains many common horror themes. We will set and revisit Lines and Veils at the beginning of each session, and use the Script Change toolkit found at thoughty.itch.io/script-change

How will character creation work
Characters to be created in-game (chargen is quick, even for beginners). Because this is a hack for a setting where “anomalies” are maligned, certain MotW playbooks are discouraged.
Players can expect
- Combat/Tactics: Low
- Roleplay: High
- Puzzles: Low
- Experience Level: Beginner
