About the adventure

The Crystal Cove Preservation Society has been busy getting the historical Jenkins House ready to be shown as a museum dedicated to one of the town's prominent founders. But, like, Zoinks! The grand opening has been delayed as workers report spooky, spectral sightings! They say the ghost of Phineas Jenkins has come back from the dead to haunt the living and scare away anyone who dares enter the old house. Crystal Cove already has a dedicated group of young sleuths that solve all sorts of groovy mysteries around town, but it looks like this time these meddling kids and their dog, too, will need some help from a group of intrepid adventurers! ________________________________________________________________ "Scooby Doo and the Haunted House Rouse" is an original homebrewed adventured for 5th edition D&D. This adventure is a mystery with a focus on NPC interaction, puzzles, and traps, along with a little combat (and a lot of silliness). This is a game for 4-5 players at level 3. We'll complete this adventure in a single session lasting approximately 4 hours. We'll be using a 27 point buy for stats. Players have starting class equipment available to them. Player inventories will be subject to DM approval. Players may use any official "Forgotten Realms" D&D source material. That means no 3rd party source books and no Unearthed Arcana. Please ask if you'd like to use something from "Eberron", "Ravnica", or "Theros". "Explorer's Guide to Wildemount" is out of bounds. Feel free to import your own character! We'll be playing this game on Roll20, but we'll use Discord for audio. Players will receive the Discord server link when the start time approaches. Please have your character sheet ready to go at the start time! Payment for this game will be $15 per player. If you're interested in joining this game, please respond with: 1. Age 2. D&D experience 3. Roll20 experience 4. Preferred character build, plus a backup If you have further questions or comments, please feel free to PM me! This game contains royalty free music from
