About the adventure
The dense and cold forests of Vinterland are ruled by a powerful and dangerous dark lord. Will you and your party survive this expedition, defeat the dark lord, or succumb to the curse? Well come to the food chain, bon appetite. This five part mini campaign is set in a homebrew dark domain based on official elements from Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft. Players looking for a survival horror setting where combat is the least of your worries may apply. The hazards will be many with limited magical resources and an unforgiving environment based on 13th century North America. Players will start the adventure at level 3 and potentially level up to 5.

How to prepare
Microphones are required for players. If they choose not to use a webcam that is fine, but it is preferred. Any players that do not want to create a character (sometimes time is not our friend) I will have some stock characters for play, but that list will be short and final before the start of the session. I will send links for D&D Beyond for the campaign, so an account is required and that is where I will accept player sheets. Games will be held over Discord over voice and video chat (again, the camera for the player is optional). Rolls can be made either with digital dice or analogue on the table (honor system is in place).
What I provide
I will use my home camera to show player location and environment. Maps will be shared via Discord. I will also provide a copy of my Social Statement detailing acceptable behavior and homebrew rules.
Gameplay details
Fear, gore, body horror, environmental hazards, harsh language (PG-13) As a GM I will take it upon myself to check in with the players to ensure they are comfortable with the setting, content and party behavior.

How will character creation work
