Saturday Sword Coast Explorers (Youth: ages 9-12)

About the adventure

Run through the wild and familiar territory of the Sword Coast of Faerun. Visit familiar places like Neverwinter and Baldur's Gate. This adventure will also take you deep into the heartland to discover new settings like Eltabbar and Elmwood. This game is open to all experience levels, just scaled differently to fit the themes and pacing for those 9-12 years of age. The campaign will run 6-8 sessions to go from start-to-finish. The above price is for children 9-12. Parents/Guardians play for free with the seating of their child.

How to prepare

Prior to the game, each player needs to already be signed up with D&D Beyond so that we can jump right into character creation. Once all of the characters are built, we will jump into the story.

What I provide

I will bring dice (for my own secret rolls), the world, maps, illustrations, monsters, battle maps, markers, etc. I will take care of everything else.

Gameplay details

The first part of Session 1 will be all about learning the basics of the game and building characters using D&D Beyond. (It's really simple!) From there, we will jump right into the adventure. The primary purpose of this campaign is to learn the basics, learn that making mistakes is okay and part of life, and to have fun in cooperation with others.

How will character creation work

We will start at level 1 by building out the characters in D&D Beyond as the first half of Session 1.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
