About the adventure
You are in the Dyn Singh Night Market, a delightful maze of rare wares and enticing food. As you explore the market, you witness a feud between two respected merchant families over a spate of vandalism and thefts. You must earn the trust of the vendors to unmask whoever is responsible for the disturbances. Will you save the Night Market? Or will you instead witness its last night in business? Join us for market games, mysteries, and roleplaying in a Level 1 two-session mini-campaign inspired by Southeast Asian culture! The adventure will include roleplaying, ability checks, leveling up, inventory management, and combat. I am happy to help new players familiarize themselves with D&D rules, D&D Beyond, and Roll20.

Gameplay details
Players will be required to agree to a code of conduct before play that bans harassment, bigotry of any kind (including homophobia, racism, sexism, transphobia), and other harmful behavior. The group will discuss content objections and potential triggers at the table at the start of our first session of gameplay, and players should feel free to alert me of any concerns. The adventure is overall relatively lighthearted but does include fire, insects, and violence, and may include alcohol use. Each session will include a 10-minute break approximately halfway through. Players can expect a high roleplaying environment, with some exploration, a small amount of combat, and an underlying mystery. We will be using Roll20 for visuals (including battlemaps) and music, D&D Beyond for character sheets, and Discord for voice chat (cameras are optional).
