Salt in Wounds - Beginner Friendly PF2E Dark Fantasy City Adventure

About the adventure

The City of Salt in Wounds is a blood-soaked powerhouse city-state whose economy is built around the perpetual butchery of the regenerating, unkillable Tarrasque. Adventurers come to the City seeking Fame, Gold, the Thrill of Battle, and more but few make it out unscarred for just as the body of the Apocalyptic Tarrasque is eternally cultivated and carved up so that the Macabre society built upon its back may continue, there is not a soul who comes in contact with the City that is not stained in its sins.

How to prepare

A microphone, discord account, and stable internet connection are all the players will really need. If you have a basic character concept that will certainly move things along as well.

What I provide

The Virtual Tabletop, Access to all of the Official Core Books (upon request), music and visual effects to enhance gameplay, and a working knowledge of the PF2e rules and willingness to bend them to support the Rule of Cool

Gameplay details

The game will be played online using FoundryVTT and Discord, the former requires only an Internet connection and the latter requires a free account to the Chat Service. A microphone will be necessary as well. Reading through the Player's Guide before the first session will be helpful, but not absolutely necessary as there will be time partitioned out for character creation in Session 0 as needed.

How will character creation work

Character Creation will be done first on Pathbuilder and then ported over to FoundryVTT by hand. Players are encouraged to try their hand at making Level 1 Characters on their own, but assistance will be provided to anyone who would prefer a guiding hand to go through the process.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
