Ryuutama: Journey to the Pastry Festival

About the adventure

A manga-style journey where travel is more important than combat, and the trip is just as important as the destination. You and your companions are making their way to the coastal town of Seawater for the yearly Pastry Festival. You'll travel over the mountains and through Sweet-fen marsh. Characters range from Merchants to Minstrels, Artisans to Farmers, all with some reason to attend the Pastry Festival.

How to prepare

Players will need a webcam & microphone, as well as a Roll20 account (which is free). Knowing or owning the rules isn't required. Dice are cool, but again not required.

What I provide

I'll set up Roll20 with art, music and maps.

Gameplay details

Ryuutama doesn't lend itself to dark themes, but we're still going to use safety tools--Lines & Veils, Screen Change and X-card tools, just in case.

How will character creation work

We'll have a Session Zero to create characters, and to talk about safety tools & a little world building.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
