About the adventure

Come and uncover the endless discoveries hidden within the forgotten caverns, mysterious vaults, and ancient ruins of Blackclaw Mountain. Are you Hero enough to come face-to-face with the shocking truth behind the origin of the ominous Grendleroots? --- This is an introductory campaign intended to familiarize new Players to D&D 5th Edition, and with the setting of Deepdelver's Enclave, the caverns of Blackclaw, and the Ruins of the Grendleroot. Characters will begin at 2nd Level! --- **Joining the Game** If you sign up for the game, go ahead and hit me up on Discord at Night_Bright_ST#1245. Also go ahead and download the AboveVTT Chrome plugin at https://bit.ly/3clQtCN as this will be the Virtual Table Top that we will use to play the game.

How to prepare

All Players will definitely need a mic and a reliable internet connection. This is an absolute MUST. Players will also need to make a D&D Beyond account, which we will use to host the Character Sheets. We will be using AboveVTT for our Virtual Table Top, which requires no account or username but does require that you download a free Chrome plug-in at https://bit.ly/3clQtCN We will be using AboveVTT for our audio and video as well. I (the Dungeon Master) will be using video, and you as Players are invited to do so as well (though it is in no way required).

What I provide

I will provide maps and tokens via AboveVTT. I do lots of voices for creatures and NPCs. I also have the full race, class, feat, and spell options available through D&D Beyond (so we can have whatever kind of characters we want. And I will be sharing the Player's Handbook with all players via D&D Beyond as well. Additionally, I bring nearly 30 years of experience in GM'ing to the table.

How will character creation work

Pregenerated 1st Level characters will be available in an assortment of races and classes, all with fleshed-out backgrounds and ties to the setting. Optionally, I'd be happy to arrange a meeting with me prior to the session (over Discord) to create a character using D&D Beyond...which is incredibly fast and easy.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
