About the adventure

Trials of the Hall #2 is the trial of Colchis. Created by an Akroan Adventurer named Colchis, he seeks to mimic a few of his own great feats as an adventurer with this trial. His trial is set to test adventurers of 3rd to 5th level (dependent on the number of players). In the pursuit of adventure, glory, and of course treasure, heroes of all backgrounds seek out Rollo and his House of Heroes to test their mettle... Trials of the Hall is a series of one-shots set in Rollo's Hall of Heroes. Adventurers are put through one of several trials that are used as a challenge them to prove their worth as heroes. Each adventure will test adventurers ability to solve puzzles, navigate hazards, and engage threats to make sure that they are competent enough to represent Rollo's Hall when they are sent out into the world! Rollo's Hall of Heroes is an adventure setting devised to take adventures literally anywhere - whether you're deep in the jungles of Chult, sprinting through the streets of Sharn, or fending off the thralls of the notorious vampire lord of Barovia. Heroes are gathered in the Jade Tower by the demi-god Rollo to be sent out to aid those who pray to him.

How to prepare

Players should have a Roll20, Discord, and a D&D Beyond account. Prior to each session I will provide players with links to brief tutorials showing how to use the tool. - Roll20 for Visuals - Discord for Audio - D&D Beyond for Characters - Beyond 20 for integration between Roll20 and D&D Beyond **Optional but encouraged** - **Optional** Players can design their character using Heroforge.com and then share a link with me, I will then be able to make a token of your character! If you have any questions, please send me a message!

What I provide

Maps, Story, and fun. If players use Heroforge.com to create a character they will receive a reusable Token and Portrait of their character that they save and reuse if they so desire!

Gameplay details

Rollo's Halls of Heroes is a series of one-shot adventures meant to be accomplished in a single 3 to 4.5 hour session. Due to this premise, anyone may join with a pre-generated 3rd Level character with the expectation that smaller groups will level up their characters up to match the difficulty of the dungeon. Two 5th level characters are more than capable of handling the threats of Hurki's Hall if needed. All players are welcome, Trials of the Hall are meant to be a low-intensity introduction to the world of Rollo's Hall designed to be accomplishable by any combination of players and characters. Content Warning & Safety Tools Players should expect some mild fantasy violence. During gameplay, players will be encouraged to either publicly or privately utilize the X, N, and O system via chat. If at any point gameplay is headed in a bad direction for a player, or has crossed a line they may inform the DM with a simple message of "X" either privately or in the chat. Once prompted, the DM will bring the triggering content to an end. Additionally, there is always an Open Door policy, if a player needs to step away or take a break they are always welcome to do so. After every session players will be encouraged to have a discussion with the DM to see how everyone felt about the session. Alternatively, a link to a feedback survey will also be made available for players who would like to share their thoughts without having to engage in a direct conversation. At the end of the day, we're all here to have fun! Everyone should be comfortable and excited to play each session and if there is ever a problem, please just let the DM know.
