Rise of the Runelords
Pathfinder 1e on Roll20
About the adventure
Play the adventure that launched pathfinder. From the idyllic, peaceful coastal town of Sandpoint to ancient lost cities at the top of the world, Rise of the Runelords takes a party of adventurers from 1st to 18th level and delves into the mysteries of Varisia's ancient past. Millennia ago, the powerful empire of Thassilon ruled the land, dominated by despotic runelords who maintained their control through the power of rune magic. Thought gone forever, the workings of Thassilon continue and a runelords plan to return to power is already in motion. Only the brave adventurers stand in there way.
How to prepare
Please come with a mic. We will be playing using discord for voice and roll20 for the game. You can either make your character by yourself and then turn it in to me for review or we can work on them together via voice chat.
What I provide
The game will be on roll20 and will feature a library complete with dozens of NPC's to interact with, dynamic lighting in dungeons, and handouts of important information and pictures.
Content warnings: This game includes horror elements, descriptions of blood and gore, violence against animals (goblins hate dogs), and mentions of suicide. This game is run using the pathfinder game system. It is a rules heavy system so if you are new expect a learning curve. I've taught literally dozens of people how to play and will do my best to make your experience great regardless of experience level as long as you are ready to learn. Players of all experience levels are welcome.
