Rime of the Frostmaiden Campaign

About the adventure

This will be a persistent campaign from the adventure book Rime of the Frostmaiden. The campaign setting will be in my homebrew world Ukodor and I’ve added so much lore and quests to the already awesome book. I use miniatures and terrain to add to the immersion. Using an awesome tabletop program called Vorpal Board it makes you feel you are at the table. I also can use Zoom for bigger groups. Synopsis The year is 881 of the 3rd age and the Frigid Expanse has had its 3rd winter in a row. There seems to be a curse on the land that created a forever winter. There are ten towns in the region all run by house leaders. There is one leader in the town of Trevak, the capital, that has final say over the towns. There has been a call out to the neighboring regions for help. The lack of food and aggressive attacks of the wildlife has made living there a challenge. For any wayward traveling seeking work, fame or a challenge may find themselves in the Frigid Expanse. The setting is cold with dangers around every corner. Crap cats, yetis, nomads and much worse attempt to survive on the outskirts of town. Environmental hazards await as well. Land slides, blizzards, extreme cold and even arctic hurricanes also will challenge your resolve.

How to prepare

Attend the session zero and build out a basic character. Backstories are loved but not needed.

What I provide

Everything comes with the programs I use. I bring the in game audio. Miniature’s, custom terrain for every encounter and a lot of engaging material that will leave you wanting more.

Gameplay details

The gameplay is how you and your party choose. With the quests in the book in allows for linear quest lines. I’ve added a lot of other quest lines to the game much like Skyrim. You can either follow quests, build story or hunt monsters.

How will character creation work

We will have a session zero and build out characters using Dndbeyond.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
