About the adventure

This is an intro into the Rifts world of adventure, horror, and awesome technology and magic. Rifts takes place after the golden age of the earth when a worldwide cataclysmic event happened. Continents shifted, landmasses blinked from existence only to be replaced with strange alien landscapes. Creatures from other worlds and dimensions have been displaced around the globe. Dragons and cyborgs battle together for survival, wizards and machinists craft incredible technologies. Invasions from demons and otherworldly entities can happen at any moment. Can you survive?

How to prepare

Having a Roll20 account and Discord will be required. The mic is needed for communication, a webcam is optional. Have an open mind to the world setting and be an adventurer willing to go out and adventure.

Gameplay details

If there are issues, please address them as they happen. Privately with me. Rifts is a post-apocalyptic world setting with demons and hostile aliens who want to enslave all below them. There is evil in this world and pretty much everywhere. This game has no 'real' balance and death can come quickly, survival is not guaranteed. *NOTE* For the Content Warnings section: This game is full of good deeds and pure atrocities across the board. If there is something that is an absolute 'no' it will need to be covered in Session 0.

How will character creation work

During session 0, we will work through character creation and start the game when done. I prefer all characters to be level 1. Rolling stats will be done via Roll20, this is for fairness and to combat cheating. O.C.C.'s and R.C.C.'s are then chosen.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
