About the adventure

Nestled between the coast of Neverwinter and Waterdeep, on the Sword Coast, is Saltmarsh, a sleepy fishing town that sits on the precipice of destruction! Smugglers guide their ships to hidden coves, willing to slit the throat of anyone foolhardy enough to cross their path. Cruel sahuagin gather beneath the waves, plotting to sweep away coastal cities. Drowned sailors stir to unnatural life, animated by dark magic and sent forth in search of revenge. The cult of a forbidden god extends its reach outward from a decaying port, hungry for fresh victims and willing recruits. While Saltmarsh slumbers, the evils that seek to plunder it grow stronger. However, everything changed the day the Sea Prince returned! Our hero must rise to keep the waves safe!

How to prepare

The players should prepare their characters background and think about their goal. The player must have a working mic and a Roll20 account, and must have completed initial talk with the DM to create their character in Roll20. The DM will answer rules and questions before the game and as we go along. It is encouraged to get familiar with the 5e rules however this can be daunting for beginners and it is advised that they ask the DM if they need clarity.
