About the adventure

Welcome to the high magic world of Plaxion, we meet our heroes in the wild jungle continent of Salcha. Everyone knows of the festival of fire and people from all over flock to this yearly event. Enjoy the festivities while they last, you'll find many vendors and games to enjoy during the 7 themed days of the festival. Meet, haggle, and persuade your way through all the wacky characters looking to sell wares and services. Through clues, graphics, puzzles, role-playing, and some combat, our heroes will uncover that the festival is about to take a turn for the worst. Disclaimer: The games I run sometimes involve or mention darker and more adult themes such as intense fantasy violence, death, substance use, and more.

How to prepare

As long as you have a mic or a device to use discord off of that makes it easy to understand you and doesn't sound overly garbled, that should be fine. Webcams are a plus but not everyone needs one or has to always have it on if so. Digital or physical dice are fine. Physical or digital Players handbooks are required. This will make character building, leveling, spells, and just about everything else alot smoother for everyone involved.

What I provide

I will have access to physical books in which I can share images of, relay to you or reference when necessary. Most of my props/puzzles and such will be digital and shared to everyone.

Gameplay details

My players can expect an open door policy with the ability to take breaks without explanation. If a player is uncomfortable or unhappy with something they are able to bring it up during the game or after and I will attempt to remedy. If you have anything your worried about seeing or experiencing in my game then feel free to let me know. We will have a session 0 in which characters will be built (if they haven't been prior), and more of an explanation of the type of game I run will be had. This allows for newer players and older alike to understand what to expect from me and the game/rules. At the end of session 0, granted there's time we will intro characters and the game.

How will character creation work

Character creation will happen all together during session 0, but those that are comfortable/knowledgeable are welcome to build them prior. If you build yours prior, realize that we may still have to take time for others while you wait. Characters will all start at level 1. I go by a trust policy for rolling stats ,rolls, and in general because I believe when you cheat, you're only ruining the game for yourself. That being said, if I catch you cheating, you will be removed from my game. I do request a photo to have as a copy for reference if you use a physical sheet or a digital copy/screenshot if it's digital, such as dnd beyond.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
