About the adventure

Today is the day!! Your new business is open and ready for customers. Almost broke and ready for coin, anyone who walks in the door to hire you sounds like the perfect job for your new company. Work with your friends and co-owners to keep your business alive while serving the city (and yourselves) quite well. You and your friends have bounced from job to job, picking up silver and gold where you can. A few months ago, one of you had the idea to start an odds and ends business to help anyone in need, (so long as they can pay). After a few months, you've scraped up enough money for a sign and a months rent in a small storefront on the western part of the city. Ravnica is massive and who knows what kind of customers will walk in through the door? The game will be set in the mystical metropolis of Ravnica, as ourlined in the Guildmasters Guide to Ravnica, and the business will be run using the Acquisitions Incorporated sourcebook. Players will have access to both as well as a number of other source books.

How to prepare

All players will need is a PC to run the Virtual Table Top and a Discord account to speak to the party in game. A microphone should be available to speak to everyone, but a webcam is unnecessary. I will be using a webcam for gestures, facial expressions, etc. ***NO SOFTWARE INSTALLTION IS NECESSARY AS ALL PROGRAMS ARE BASED IN WEB BROWSERS***

Gameplay details

In any given session, you and your party members will evaluate job offers to keep your business alive. Small jobs for civilians, or large (higher paying jobs) for one of the 10 guilds throughout the city. Depending on who's hiring, there could be weeks of hacking and slashing, or sessions where your weapons stay safely at your side. Private investigating, Intrigue, messaging, or politics. All are options, depending on whom you ally with. Roleplay- This is certainly optional, but heavily welcomed. I will always allow for those roleplaying moments between PC's and others, but most NPC's will address you in character. (voices are welcome but certainly not necessary) Combat- Combat can be a major player, or almost non-existant. Some jobs will require slaying a horde of zombies or culling an Ogre, where other jobs may ask for an escort to a high society party. This one is entirely up to you and your party Puzzling - This will be in almost direct contrast to combat. Sometimes there will be puzzles and combat, but more likely is one or the other. Once again, depending on the jobs you take, there could be a number of puzzles or you can use your warhammer to solve them. Flat is solved, right? No experience in D&D is necessary, however I like to jump into the action on the first day. This means, if you'd like to run over the basics with me I should be available ahead of time to go over things with you.

How will character creation work

Characters will start at level 1 and should be created in D&D Beyond. They'll all be created ahed of time with some assistance from myself. Alternatively, I have 10+ premade characters ready to go fo r this setting if you'd like to jump in and start playing.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
