Ravnica: City of Intrigue and Mystery.

About the adventure

This will be set in the Magic: The Gathering world of Ravnica as outlined in the Guildmasters Gudie to Ravnica. Groups can start at any level they wish however for most scenarios I'd reccommend starting with the level 1 adventure within the book and go from there. Very few restrictions on character creation as I have access to all sourcebooks and adventures on D&D beyond with the ability to share them as well. If there is anything you'd like to explore and you haven't been able to yet. HERE'S YOUR CHANCE! For anyone unfamiliar, Ravnica is a large Urban plane where the city limits emcompass the entirety of the world. Within the city center (The Tenth District) the cities' 10 guilds all vye for power. As a character you are allowed access to any one of these 10 guilds if you so choose which will aid you in your goals, and offer a number of bonuses and bounties. Alternatively, there are a number of citizens not in a guild who may have some communities of their own. As with many Urban settings, this game will feature a number of different missions. These can include anything from storming a fortress, solving a mystery, working for/against a cabal, subtrefuge, assassination, politcal gains, or taking down the system piece by piece. Almost anything is up for grabs! I love to give players agency over their actions, the actions, of the party and how that affects the NPCs the meet and the world around them.

How to prepare

A webcam is not neccessary but welcome, a microphone however is a stong bonus. A basic understanding of the rules is helpful and I would be willing to set up a time to discuss them ahead of time, however not necessary for session 1. Everything can be done within two browsere windows, so no software downloads and no dice are necessary. Everything can be done with you internet browser!

What I provide

I will have everything set for you including maps, character tokens, monsters, mystery, fun voices and scary villains. Bring your fun ideas and positive attitude! P.S. for anyone wishing to sign up and play without any work, I have characters that are already generated and ready to play at a moments notice.

Gameplay details

The beauty of this world is that the sessions can be whatever is decided by on the characters. If the players would like to delve into the depths of the underdark, then there will be a lot of exploring, dungeons, and planty of monsters If the party decides to open a business, then we can incorperate the Acquisitions Incorportaed rules to running a brewery, restaurant, etc There is also the option to being a part of a guild, a group of like minded individuals who are looking to make Ravnica better for them and everyone around them. Options are abundant!!

How will character creation work

I'd like to jump right in on Session 1 with the game so I would be willing to assist anyone with their character creation ahead of time. I can invite you to the campaign on D&D beyond which will allow you all of the source book material to create just about any character you'd like. Alternatively, if you'd like me to have a character pre-made for you. I have a number of characters built specifically for this world.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
