About the adventure

Today is Friday, October 30th, 1987. Tomorrow is Halloween, and Ravenloft Mall will be hosting a huge costume party for it all day. Every store will have candy for kids in costume, and there will be a "Best Costume" event with a prize of $500 in store credit for any store in the mall! It's the perfect opportunity, because you'll never have a better chance to blend in. Oh, why would a bear want to get inside the mall you ask? Well, it turns out that rumor has it that the mall has received a large shipment of honey - and you *want* that honey. You have a complex plan that requires precise timing. And you are a GODDAMN BEAR. This adventure takes place in an 80's mall, themed around the places and npcs from The Curse of Strahd module. You don't have to have played The Curse of Strahd, but if you have there will be plenty of references!

What I provide

- A FoundryVTT server. - Custom maps and tokens. Combat in this game is not intended to be tactical and will be largely theater of the mind with tokens being used to show roughly where characters are on the map. - Ambient music, sound effects. - Silly voices will happen.

Gameplay details

Violence and guns are all likely in this adventure, though that can depend greatly on how the players decide to go about their mission. Drugs are likely to exist in this adventure, however at the players request they can be written out fairly easily. Each player will receive a Lines and Veils document that they can fill out with any subjects that would like to not deal with or gloss over. During gameplay, the various X cards can be used to indicate if a subject is approaching that may be an issue or is an issue. This is something I will go over before we begin playing the game to ensure people know exactly what's going on.

How will character creation work

We will create characters during gameplay - it's very fast and quick. If you are unfamiliar with Honey Heist, character creation involves rolling dice to randomly determine what type of bear you are, what your role is on the team, and what descriptor you get. It also involves rolling to see what type of hat you're wearing. Basically, it's a quick random rolling of dice and then slapping together some sort of character out of what you rolled.
