About the adventure

The Rappan Athuk game session run by Girl-Devon (as opposed to Guy-Devon). This is a direct invite only link and should not be shared except to those taking part in this specific journey. The details of this adventure have already been discussed amongst relevant parties prior to game time. Please attempt to accomplish the goals of the adventure in one session to get you back to the safety of Zelkor's Ferry where you will prepare for your next adventure.

How to prepare

You just need Roll20 and Discord installed. If you have headphones that would also be nice since it reduces echoes and background noise. I might entertain streaming this, but only if everyone is comfortable, in which case we might want to set up webcams. This is not a major thing, and again only if everyone is on board.

Plenty of maps and tokens as well as evocative art to set the mood.

Gameplay details

The game is open to all players. While we want to give you a challenging game, we are not challenging people to be around, and hope you understand the distinction. We don't do sex or romance - and hope that will make the game inclusive and keep it from being uncomfortable.

How will character creation work

Character creation will happen either in a free session 0, where the setting and game world is discussed, or if arriving late to the game we'll try to get you rolled up over Discord and in Roll20. To keep the game true to the original spirit of the game and be true to the setting, and to avoid the inevitable power creep that comes with supplements to any game, the character classes and subclasses will come out of the Player's Handbook and no later supplements. Additionally, Warlocks and Sorcerers will not be in the game, nor will some players races to stay true to the game feel and setting.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
