About the adventure

Quest RPG is a narrative fantasy RPG set in a custom world. In this story, players take the role of heroes fighting against evil. The flexibility of the game means it is easy to customize the game to the desires of the players. The ease of the game makes it perfect for one-shots, themed campaigns, and games that include children or new players. If you choose this campaign, I will create a game specific to what you want in an experience. I can provide pregenerated characters so you can hop right into the game, or we can make character-building part of the experience. I will share links to any rules or source material you might need.

How to prepare

Players will need a webcam and mic, to use over a secured Zoom channel. Zoom is a free online video chat service, and a professional account without time limits is provided by the Gamemaster (called a Guide in Quest). You should download and install this software on your computer, phone, or tablet prior to play. Players do not ned to know the rules ahead of time, but they will need a character (either of their making, or a pregenerated character). Players should have a 20-sided die available to them to play. This is the only die needed. It is recommended players also have a printed copy of their character sheet with a pencil, to take notes or make changes.

What I provide

I will provide a number of things for players. - I provide the professional Zoom license, so our game isn't limited to 40 minutes and so our experience is secure and encrypted. - I provide ambient sound and sound effects through use of a sound board. - I create a custom gaming experience tailored to the desires of the players. - Given time, I will create maps for your game (which you can then keep).

Gameplay details

Gameplay can include making characters, or I can provide pregenerated characters (often a better option for players new to the system). During the game, there will be ample opportunities to meet denizens of your fantasy world, explore hidden locales, and slay monsters if necessary.

How will character creation work

Players can choose to make a new character at the table with others, or they can choose to take a pregenerated character. The latter option is especially suited for players seeking a one-time game.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
