About the adventure

The Temple of Elemental Evil reimagined! A truly fantastic adventure for beginners and veterans alike. We'll start at 1st level and create an epic campaign for the ages! This campaign will be heavy on action and tactics, with light to medium puzzles and roleplaying. Players are free to roleplay as much or as little as they'd like. "A terrible threat appears to be gathering in the North. Throughout this region of the Forgotten Realms, savage marauders bring destruction and enslavement. Monsters are on the prowl, preying on flocks, rampaging through croplands, and attacking homesteads and travelers. Sinister strangers lurk in the shadows of towns and villages, whispering about how everything is soon to change. The year brought unseasonably warm and stormy weather, spurring tales of flooding, windstorms, wildfires, tremors and more. The citizens of Red Larch, a town at the epicenter of the troubles currently besetting the region, have put out a call for adventurers to come to their aid. The townspeople only know that a secretive cult grows in power in the Sumber Hills, and has claimed one of many abandoned keeps there. Adventurers heeding the call are offered free lodging and one meal a day as long as they are actively working in Red Larch’s interests, with a reward of 500 gp to the party that can eliminate the Sumber Hills menace once and for all. In addition, a slain dragon’s hoard is rumored to be abandoned somewhere underneath the Sumber Hills, a potential find that could vastly enrich and empower your party..."
