About the adventure

Welcome to Portal Pizza, this universe’s first ever intergalactic, multidimensional, and panchronological pizza empire. When the patent for portal technology finally expired and allowed for public domain portal use, our mysterious and curiously off-the-grid CEO known as The Founder put it to use in the most innovative and crowd-pleasingest expression of pure capitalism… ever. That’s right. Pizza delivery! It doesn’t matter what species you are or what time period you grew up in, nothing beats a piping hot circle of crust, tomato sauce, and cheese (along with a truly mindboggling smorgasbord of toppings) delivered straight to your door! Armed with our state of the art GPS (gyroscopic pizza stabilizer), our delivery-persons will bring our customers the finest pies in 30 minutes or less. So… congratulations! You are now a member of the Portal Pizza family, a frontline deliveryperson of exceptional skill and excellence willing to risk your life to bring joy and sustenance to the universe... one delicious pie at a time!

How to prepare

Making a D&D Beyond character sheet (it just makes things so much easier). A google account (to share the google slide with you) Webcam and Mic. Character art to copy/paste into the google slide (not required, but nice!) Salty snacks and sugary drinks (of course).

What I provide

A google slide with our NPC's and Battlemaps. A gameplay balance of roughly 20% role playing, 30% puzzle solving, and 50% combat.

Gameplay details

How the session will go: 1) sign on with google meet 2) brief introductions 3) a very quick session 0--if you have a character pre-generated, awesome! If you need one, I will have a few available to share. 4) the chat will be open at all times so that you can message me publicly or privately with questions and/or concerns. 5) I will share a google slide which has things like NPC's, battle maps, etc. 6) We'll take a break roughly halfway through for about 5 minutes. 7) At the end of the session, you can share your "stars and wishes" directly on the google slide or privately in the chat.

How will character creation work

Characters should be at level 3. I highly recommend using D&D Beyond's character generator and interactive character sheets. I prefer folks to bring their own characters in advance (they can be from anywhere in the multiverse!) If you have character art, that is awesome and we can copy/paste that into the battlemap on google slides if you like. As for backstories, your character is welcome to have any history / agenda etc. that you wish--I only ask that they have some reason that they wanted to join an interdimensional pizza delivery service (adventure seeking? part of some devious underworld plot? saving up money to go to college?) I will have some pre-generated character sheets to use if needed.
