Polyp's Fang: 5e One-shot!
Dungeons & Dragons 5e on Roll20, Theater of the Mind, Zoom
About the adventure
Join me for a 5e one-shot (level 3 characters of any alignment) about friendly fungi, giant fangs, and a desert of gossamer apricot sand that glows in the night. This adventure is inspired (loosely) by Hollow Knight, but with more non-insects and a much lighter tone. I'm an experienced DM , but I'm still getting comfortable using Startplaying.games so while I learn the ropes I'm offering some discounted games! I welcome all players regardless of skill or experience, and you do not need to be a professional voice actor to play in one of my groups. Note: it's my goal to facilitate safe, inclusive, humorous, and touching roleplaying experiences for all of my players. If you have any feedback at all please feel free to contact me after the session with your thoughts; I learn how to do this better by listening to all of you, not the other way around. How to prepare
Please have the following: a mic, a character, a physical or digital set of dice, and a roll.20 account (they're free.) Optional but appreciated: a camera, a passing knowledge of the rules of 5e, some sense of humor.
What I provide
I'll be supplying a few maps but otherwise I'm mostly here to arbitrate rules and do funny voices.
CW: sexual themes, potential for gore. Gameplay is going to be a lightly-railroaded romp through a short quest about an imperiled town and the mysterious temple high above them, totaling about four scenes and a travel montage. Players are expected to attempt to roleplay and are invited to do voices, but no pressure.
