About the adventure

"Avast, scoundrel! Board the Jackdaw, become a pirate! We set sail at dawn, out into the open seas to seek our riches among the many isles to be found. The Shattered Teeth is rich and bountiful... prime for the taking. Captain Seagull be a fine sailor and a finer captain, he will treat you right while you get your sea legs. Just you remember, whatever happens out there on the oceans stays in the ocean... and so will you if you fall behind." The dim, dingy light of the crowded, run-down tavern cast a ominous glow over the golden toothed grin of the human face as he addresses the patrons from atop a dining table. His head is shaven bald sh9owing his skin to be heavily tanned. Bearing an eyepatch over his left eye, black leather armor and scabbard to his hip, a lavish, intricate rapier. He takes the silence as an opportunity to lock 'eye' contact with each would be sailor before him. Some of these men would make fine hands, all of them could use the coin for sure... "Sign up sheet is in the corner, speak to Grugmsh and he will sort you out," he finishes and gestures a thumb toward a burly orc on the far side of the room. Standing seven and a half feet wearing an onyx tunic and burlap trousers with two very large scimitars at his waste. A black bandana covers his head and his blue-green complexion is only just visible beneath a heavy layer of tattoos. Jumping from his makeshift podium, the man calls out, "a round of whatever my friends are drinking!" To which a thunderous cheer ensued as the bards retook their instruments.

Gameplay details

*Welcome to the Shattered Teeth, an assortment of lands and folk alike. If here you be for your fortune you may find it, but are ye' willing to pay it's steeply cost? Be wary for these oceans team with pirates, monsters and other unsightly natures. Ship to ship combat will deftly become second nature to all hands while night time raiding parties and cavern dives for treasure will see you rich enough to be kings of our own little kingdom. That be, if we remain afloat...* Heavy roleplay, pirate themed campaign set in the world of Exandria, designed for lawful good to chaotic neutral alignment. This is not a forum to commit heinously evil acts, more of a place for rugged pirates to plunder their way to fame and fortune. Evil aligned characters will be accepted only on a case by case basis. This adventure is designed for four to six, third level characters and will take the party to the thirteenth level as they earn their sea-legs, encounter myths and legends and per chance, become one in the making.
