How to prepare

All you need out of the box is: - A working microphone and headset - A stable internet connection - A Discord account http://www.discord.com (Free) - A DNDBeyond account https://www.dndbeyond.com/ (Free) *Video chat is optional. Once we've got you settled in the chat, I will provide you with a direct link to the Foundry server that will host the game. If you are new to Foundry VTT, there's a really quick guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUkUiPEynDQ&ab_channel=TheDungeonNewb%27sGuide but we can go over how to use it during Session 0. For technical support, just drop me a DM! Our server assistants are a friendly bunch and totally willing to help get you settled!

What I provide

Gameplay details

There will be no overt sexual content (fade to black) or sexual violence, but there will be violence, blood, and a fair amount of non-gratuitous foul language. As long as you have the urge to play? You're more than welcome. Anything I can accommodate, I am 100% willing to discuss and implement. I want to ensure that you have a comfortable and fulfilling experience - let's make it happen: - Session 0: Discord allows us to start planning as soon as you enter the chat! But there will be a formal session 0 for introductions, character creation, and table rules. This will be a free session, and depending on time we usually sneak in some roleplay fun! - Lines and Veils: Please provide me with your lines and veils so I can tune the adventure, similarly I will set those as table rules. - Debriefing: I like to leave 10 minutes at the end of each session to discuss the adventure. This is optional and can be done via voice or Discord. - Breaks: Feel free to let us know you'll be AFK if you need to grab a drink or washroom! There will be a break at the 1.5(ish) mark of every session. If your goal is to be disruptive, disrespectful, or otherwise damaging to the experience of others you will be asked to leave. This is a game of collaboration and meant for enjoyment - I aim to preserve that.

How will character creation work

Your characters will start at level 5 and can expect to reach level 12 by the conclusion of the campaign, and will have the benefit of using my DNDBeyond for character creation and management. Everything included in the DNDBeyond materials is pre-approved for play (no homebrew), and you can use the 'Point Buy' system to assign your ability scores. Whether you start character creation before or during session 0 is totally up to you, and I'll be available to assist you with any specific details you wish to consider or include whenever you need. You will start with starting gold and equipment for your class, and one uncommon item of your choice.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
