About the adventure
Peril in the Pirate Principalities is a home-brewed D&D 5E adventure set in the Lhazaar Principalities on the continent of Khorvaire in Eberron. Shortly after settling in to some form of normalcy after regaining their independence from Galifar after The Last War, the princes of Lhazaar were confronted with a new entity -- The Chem Collective.The Chem Collective are advanced in physical science, chemistry and elemental control and while its people worship no gods, the concept of law and order above all is followed with religious and fanatical fervour. To this end, and using its considerable military and technological might, The Collective has captured most of the mainland communities and fiefdoms of the Lhazaar Principalities as well as the island of Greentarn and with it, Regalport. Resisting the enveloping grasp of The Collective are disjointed, rag-tag fleets and pirate captains who maintain their independence through wit and sheer audacity. Against this epic backdrop will you side with the scattered resistance against The Collective or will you instead take advantage of the chaos and forge your own way independent of all factions? The choice is yours!
How to prepare
Players need to have a free account with Roll20 and Discord. Other than that, I can talk you through character generation and help with the rules if you need me to.
What I provide
I will be giving players their own Roll20 tokens, and players can supply me with pictures for that if they want to. Maps will be provided on Roll20.
Peril in the Pirate Principalities is a fast-paced game filled with action but with plenty of opportunities for role-play. From working with the resistance against a powerful oligarchy intent on control of the principalities to high-fantasy side-quests, the party will need to have their wits about them to thrive in this environment. There is plenty of combat, but also down time to explore the world and rest your character. Mechanics are generally RAW, but the 'Rule of Cool' -- provided the intent is close to RAW, supersedes all. Players start at level 1 and the campaign is projected to run to about levels 7 to 9, depending on party play.

How will character creation work
Character creation will be on Roll20. You can either create your own, or choose from a list of pre-generated characters. I will be on hand to help should you require it.
