Hailed as Hayao Miyazaki's Oregon Trail or the TTRPG equivalent of Stardew Valley or Harvest Moon, Ryuutama is a cozy natural fantasy role-play where the goal is to manage your resources along the road, help those you meet, and create lasting memories alongside your friends. 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐈:𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 Ryuutama is played in "Seasons", with each Season being overseen by a Ryuu-jin (played by the Game Master, these characters act as caretakers and go-betweens for the Seasonal Dragon gods and the party) of a different nature. The Green Ryuujin of Spring inspires hopeful tales of Adventure, Travel, Freedom and Discovery. How to prepare

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝: - Microphone (REQUIRED) - Headphones (REQUIRED) - Electronic device (laptop/computer/tablet) capable of running discord (REQUIRED) - Stable internet connection (REQUIRED) 𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥: - Webcam (I typically have a 50/50 split of players that want to be on cam or off cam, so I leave it up to you and your comfort) - Snacks

What I provide

I will provide the server, the structure of the game, and all of the necessary and desired peripherals (images, sheets, etc). I will guide you through the various scenarios of the Spring season and help you shape the story as you please. If you require it, my door is always open for one-on-one guidance, questions or concerns.

Gameplay details

During our first session, we'll work to communally create our Lines and Veils. Following a session, there will be a brief space for discussion/aftercare. We'll award stars to players based on great moments during the game, and we'll discuss our "wishes" - things we'd love to see incorporated into our next session. My DMs are open throughout the games. If you don't feel comfortable bringing up something that has caused you discomfort over the table, you can always message me privately and I will steer us discreetly away from the topic at hand. The goal is always to have fun and tell a great story, not to cause personal harm.

How will character creation work

Character creation will be guided and communal to ensure that the party is well-balanced between the various roles (although you will have an opportunity to pick up secondary roles as the game progresses). Characters will begin at level one.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
