Out of the Abyss
Dungeons & Dragons 5e on Roll20
Price per player-session
About the adventure
NOTE: WE ARE ABOUT HALFWAY THROUGH THE ADVENTURE, AND THE PLAYERS ARE CURRENTLY 9TH LEVEL. I WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO COME AROUND IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, BUT KEEP IN MIND YOU ARE JOINING RATHER LATE! Out of the Abyss starts the players off in the Underdark and has them explore and delve to first escape it, but then to stop the incoming demonic incursion. To avoid giving spoilers to wandering eyes, the players have gotten about halfway through the adventure and are currently on the latter part. While you'd miss out on the gritty beginning, we'd love for you to join the more action packed, high power ride that we are developing now!
How to prepare
After we get in contact, all you need to do is have a basic grasp of the rules and I can help you create your characters if you need it, but I would greatly appreciate a character to be made before the first session!
What I provide
Since we are using Roll20, I will have plenty of material prepared on the digital medium. That being said, I cannot prepare for everything so some maps may end up looking less pretty than others, but that's the nature of the game!
Currently, there is plenty of combat, plenty of room for RPing, but not as much room for Exploration. The players currently know where they are heading and Exploration can lead to many risks. A typical session currently, and this can change at any moment, looks like the party is on their way to an important location and the players can RP different random events that occur or have to fight through different monsters.
Safety tools used
How will character creation work
Stat generation is creating two different arrays with each score being 4d6 drop the lowest and choosing which array you prefer. Some other policies regarding characters No PvP, stealing from other party members, or doing anything else that can ruin another person's fun. No evil characters. No playing creatures with fly speeds (except aasimar), or artificers. All published material otherwise is fine.
Players can expect
