About the adventure

The dim sparkwork lamplights shine over the perpetually dark cobblestone streets of Doskvol, but for you, the darkness is comforting. As you duck into an alley and hide, you fumble to find light to read the letter some kid just handed you. ~~~ Blades, You have a new job. There's an artifact I want, and Lord Percival Harrington has it. Your job: find out where it is, steal it, and gain leverage on him in the process. You'll need to dive into the city's seedy underbelly, work your connections, and uncover the location. Then plan a damn good heist. Percival is cunning and will likely have hired a gang to help, so don't screw it up. Remember, I don't like this prick. Find something I can use against him, something that'll make him weak. I want to crush him. If you can't find anything then at least send him a message from me. Your reward awaits your return, Lady Evelina Thornfield ~~~ You fold the letter and tuck it away as you look around the corner back into the street. The mark you were tailing is gone, but it’s no matter, Lady Thornfield has a job to do, and she is not one to be kept waiting. ---------------------------------- Looking for the perfect introduction to Blades in the Dark? Than this introductory one-shot is for you! Everything you need will be provided, including some characters you can choose from. We’ll cover all major parts of the game, giving you a really good idea of how Blades in the Dark works. After this score, you’ll feel confident running in any crew you find or perhaps running the game yourself.
